Call and Alert Tones

The four Call Tones on the Spirit GT radios are used to alert other radio
users of an incoming transmission on the same frequency and code. They
are set at a fixed minimum volume level, but Call Tones become louder as
volume increases.
Alert Tones (beeps) confirm radio functions. Alert Tones can be disabled.
When Alert Tones are disabled, the radio will receive messages at the
volume setting you’ve selected, but you will not hear beeps when you press
control buttons.

Setting Call Tones:

1. With radio on, press the Menu button

once. Call Tone number flashes.
