Correct usage

To avoid the risk of accidents and
damage to the appliance, you

should read these operating
instructions carefully before using it for
the first time. They contain important
notes on the installation, safety,
operation and care of the appliance.

Built-in appliances must not be
used until after they have been

correctly installed. This is necessary to
ensure that all electrical components
are shielded.

This appliance is intended for
domestic use only and is not to be

used for commercial purposes.

Do not operate the appliance
without food in it (except: when

heating up for the first time and when
running the descaling programme).

This appliance must only be used
as described in these instructions.

Any other usage is at the owner’s risk
and could be dangerous. The
manufacturer cannot be held liable for
damage caused by incorrect or
improper use of the appliance.

Do not immerse the water
container in water, or clean it in a

dishwasher. Connecting the water
container into the appliance when wet
could cause an electric shock.

For reasons of hygiene and to
prevent the build-up of moisture in

the appliance, the water container
should be emptied after each use.

The drip channels should be wiped
dry with a soft cloth after each

programme.

After use, leave the door open until
the cooking compartment is

completely dry.

If the appliance is not going to be
used for a longer period of time,

e.g. whilst on holiday, it should be
thoroughly cleaned beforehand to
prevent the build up of odours etc.
Refer to "Cleaning and heating up for
the first time" and carry out the
procedure as described. Leave the
door open afterwards.
