Information

You can use different methods to synchronize information
between your phone and a server or external device:

MOTOSYNC with Exchange ActiveSync (over-the-air

connection with a Microsoft® Exchange 2003 server)

MOTOSYNC with SyncML (over-the-air connection with

a SyncML server)

Tethered Sync (Bluetooth® wireless connection or

USB cable connection to a PC using the
Motorola mobile PhoneTools software accessory
product)

MOTOSYNC With Exchange
ActiveSync

MOTOSYNC is a secure, always-up-to-date
(AUTD), over-the-air (OTA) synchronization
framework that lets you synchronize your address
book contacts, phone calendar, and email directly

with a Microsoft Exchange 2003 server, allowing you to stay
connected while out of the office.
