Synchronizing Phone Information
• Your User Password
• Your Exchange Server Name
• Your User Domain Name
Additionally, you should verify with your cellular service
provider that you have data service activated with your
account (additional fees may apply for this service).
Configuring MOTOSYNC
When you complete “Getting Started.” you are ready to
configure your phone and start synchronizing.
To configure your phone, tap R Sync, tap é, then tap
Exch ActiveSync Setup to adjust the following settings:

Enable Contact Sync
Select to sync primary contacts.
Enable Calendar Sync
Select to sync primary calendar.
Enable Email Sync
Select to sync primary email.
Sync Email from past Set
to
1 Day, 3 Days, 1 Week, 2 Weeks, or 1 Month.
Limit message size to Set
to
Headers Only, 0.5k, 1k, 5k, 10k, 20k, or 50k.
Email Address
Enter your email address.
Nick Name
Optional user nickname.
Signature
Optional user email signature.
Server Name
Fully qualified domain name of
Exchange Server 2003. If needed, get
help from your IT administrator.
User Name
Your Windows user name provided by
your IT administrator.
