External Display Features

Press

# to set text entry mode in the message field.

Indicators in the bottom left corner of the display show the
text entry mode setting:

Press

0 to set text case in the message field to no capital

letters (õ or †), next letter capital (ö or ü), or all
capitals (ô or û).

Press

* to enter a space after a word in the message field.

iTAP® Mode

iTAP mode lets you enter words using one keypress per
letter. The iTAP software combines your keypresses into
common words, and predicts each word as you enter it.

Press keypad keys (one per letter) to enter a word or the start
of a word. Your phone lists the most likely combination of
letters you entered.

Press

* or press S right to accept the word followed

by a space.

Press

S up or down to select other common words or

word fragments that can be spelled by the same
keypress combination. Press keys to add more letters at
the end of the combination.

iTAP® mode predicts each word as you
enter it, to simplify and speedup text entry.

Tap mode lets you enter individual letters
and numbers by pressing a key one or
more times.

Numeric mode enters numbers only.

ï

Symbol mode enters symbols only.
