Data and Fax Calls
Connect your phone (see “Connecting Your Phone to an External
Device” on page 128) and do the following:
Receiving a Data or Fax Call
You can connect your phone to a computer or hand-held device
to receive data or a fax.
Use this feature to transfer data to your computer from another
device.
Set Up Your Phone
Before you receive a data or fax call, you must configure your
phone for the incoming call type and connect the phone to the
device that will receive the call.
Do This To
1 Check the phone make sure that the phone is
connected and powered on
2 Open the
application on
your computer place the call through the application
(such as dial-up-networking or fax)
Note: You cannot dial data or fax
numbers through your phone’s
keypad. You must dial them through
your computer.
3 End the call from
the connected
device close the call and connection when
the transfer is complete
Find the Feature M > Settings > Connection
> Incoming Call
