while in Emergency Call, except, if enabled, it returns
to one of the following:

selected before you entered the emergency state.

Non-Tactical/Revert – You talk on a programmed
emergency channel. The emergency alarm is sent

on this same channel.

Procedure:

1

Press the programmed Emergency button.

2

If the selected channel supports emergency, a high-pitched
tone sounds. OR
If the selected channel does not support emergency, a low-
pitched tone sounds.

3

lights up solid green.

4

Long press the programmed Emergency button to exit
Emergency Call mode.

If your radio is set to Silent, it will not have any audio or visual
indicators related to the Emergency feature.

This feature allows you to send an Emergency Alarm, a non-
voice signal, which triggers an alert indication on another radio.

Procedure:

1

sounds at each retry.

3

the Emergency Acknowledgment Tone sounds. The LED
blinks green.
OR

acknowledgment, and after all retries have been exhausted,
a low-pitched tone sounds.

4

Radio exits the Emergency Alarm mode.

If your radio is set to Silent, it will not have any audio or visual
indicators related to the Emergency feature.
