4. Phonebook

The corded base phonebook can store up to 30 names
and numbers.
NOTE

Numbers can be up to 24 digits long and names up to
16 characters long. Entries are stored in alphabetical
order.

View an Entry

Entering names

Use the alphanumeric keypad to enter names in the
phonebook.
For instance to enter the name Paul

to delete a character or press and hold

to delete all characters.

Enter a pause

If your phone is connected to a switchboard, you may
need to enter a pause in a stored number. This gives the
switchboard time to get an outside line. A pause is
normally stored after the switchboard access code (e.g. 9).
