SIM entries

The entries on the SIM card are man-

aged separately from the contacts

stored in the phone. However, you

can exchange data between the SIM

card and the contacts.

Own number

Enter own phone numbers

for information.

Create new entry:

Phone No.

Always enter phone

number with dialling code.

Name

Enter first and/or last

names.

Record No.

Each entry is automatically

assigned a record number.

Location: SIM

Entries are stored on the

SIM card and so can also

be used on other GSM

phones.

Protected SIM

On special SIM cards,

phone numbers can be

stored in a protected loca-

tion. PIN2 is required for

editing.
Activate with the function

Protected SIM only

(p. 56).

Edit SIM card entry:

Entries on the SIM card may be

dialled in standby mode by entering

the record number.
