The dishes are not clean

– Old or improper detergent was used.

– The amount of detergent was used

not correct (see “Adding detergent”).

– The drain hose is kinked. *

– The drain pump is blocked (see

“Cleaning and care”). *

– The dishes are loaded uncorrectly.

– Dishes or cutlery are blocking the ro-

tation of the spray arm.

– The filters in the wash cabinet are

not clean or locked properly, or the
spray arm jets are blocked (see
“Cleaning and care”).

– The wrong programme was selected

(see “Programme chart”).

* The Indicator lamp of the selected

programme will flash when the door
is opened after the programme has
finished if this is the problem.

The dishes are not dry.

– The “Heated drying” feature is

turned off (see “Additional features”).

– The rinse aid reservoir is empty.

– Old or improper rinse aid was used.

– Old or improper detergent was used.

White residue is visible on cutlery
and dishware.

– Too much rinse aid was used (if

water supply is soft). Use a lower set-
ting (see “Adding rinse aid”).

– Too little rinse aid was used (if water

supply is hard – higher than 140 ppm
(mg/l)). Use a higher setting (see
“Adding rinse aid”).

– Too much detergent was used.

– Drain is partially obstructed. Check

the connection to the drain pipe.

– There is no salt in the salt reservoir.

– The salt reservoir lid is not screwed

on properly.

Water remains in the dishwasher at
the end of a programme.

– The drain pump or non-return valve

may be blocked (see “Cleaning and
care”).

– The drain hose is kinked or clogged.

– The connector to the main drain pip-

ing is clogged.

All indicator lamps next to the pro-
gramme touch controls are flashing
after the door is opened at the end of
a programme

– There is a technical fault.
