• Fit the steering wheel cap into the center of the steering wheel .
Make sure the screw holes are aligned .
• Insert two #8 x 1" screws into the holes in the steering wheel
cap and tighten .
• Position the vehicle on its side .
• Fit a

" lock nut onto the end of the steering column .
• While supporting the steering column tighten the lock nut with
the assembly tool .
• Turn the vehicle upright .

BOTTOM VIEW
• Using safety scissors, separate the activity panel and the instru-
ment panel . Dispose of the plastic connector .
• Insert and "snap" the base of the shifter into the activity panel .

• Fit the tabs on the bottom of the instrument panel into the notch-
es in the dash opening to the left side of the steering wheel .
• Press near the top of the instrument panel to "snap" in place .
