Connecting Your VCR to the TV

To receive television programs from an over-the-air or cable
television network, a signal must be received from one of the
following sources.

An outdoor antenna.
An indoor antenna.
A cable television system.

Make sure that both the television and the VCR are
switched off before connecting the cables.

Remove the 75

coaxial cable from the television.

Connect this cable to the 75

coaxial socket marked

on the

rear of your VCR.

Plug the coaxial cable supplied into the

socket on your VCR.

Plug the other end of the coaxial cable into the connector
previously used for the antenna on the television.

Connect one end of the RCA cable supplied to the output
jacks(OUT1 or OUT2) on the rear of the VCR.

Respect the color coding of the Audio and Video In/Out
cable.

Connect one end of the SCART cable to the EURO AV socket on
the rear of the VCR.

Plug the other end (of the RCA cable or SCART cable) into the
appropriate connector on the television.

◆ Regardless of the type of connection chosen, you must

always connect the coaxial cable supplied. Otherwise, no

picture will be visible on the screen when the VCR is
switched off.

Use the supplied RF adaptors as needed when making RF
connections.
