Ringer Type
Ringer types help you identify incoming calls and messages. You can assign ringer
types to individual Contacts entries, types of calls, Scheduler entries, and types of
messages.
•
Single Tones
are non-polyphonic traditional style ring tones.
•
Ring Tones
include a variety of standard ringer types.
•
Melodies
include a variety of musical melodies.
•
Downloads
include all the ringtones you have previously downloaded.
•
My Videos
includes videos you have recorded and can be used for
playback.
Selecting Ringer Types for Voice Calls, Messaging and Scheduler
Your phone provides a variety of ringer options that allow you to customize your
ring and volume settings. These options allow you to identify incoming calls,
messages and scheduled alerts by the ring.
To select a ringer type:
1.
Press , followed by for Settings.
2.
Press for
Sounds
.
3.
Press for
Ringer Type
.
4.
Press for
Voice Calls
, for
Messaging
, for
Schedule
or
for Roam Ringer.
•
If you selected Voice Calls, press for With Caller ID or for
No Caller ID
.
•
If you selected Messaging, press for Voicemail, for
Text
Message
or for Pic/Video Msg.
5.
Use the navigation keys to select Single Tones, Ring Tones, Melodies,
Downloads
or My Videos.
6.
Use the navigation keys to select the desired Ringer.
7.
Press to save and exit.

To select a ringer type for incoming roam calls:
