Listening to a CD
1
Press (OPEN) and insert the disc.

Close the front panel.
Playback starts automatically.
If a disc is already inserted, press (SOURCE)
repeatedly until “CD” appears to start
playback.
When the last track on the disc is
over
The track number indication returns to “1,”
and playback restarts from the first track of the
disc.

Changing the display item
Each time you press (DSPL) during CD TEXT
disc playback, the item changes as follows:
V
Track number/
Elapsed playback time

Disc name/Artist name* 1
V
Track name* 2
* 1 If you play a CD TEXT disc, the artist name
appears in the display after the disc name. (Only
for CD TEXT discs with the artist name.)
* 2 If the track name of a CD TEXT disc is not
prerecorded, “TRACK” and “NO NAME” appear
in the display.
Notes
• Some characters cannot be displayed.
• For some CD TEXT discs with very many
characters, information may not scroll.
• This unit cannot display the artist name for each
track of a CD TEXT disc.
