To send a message from the Mobile Messenger window:
1. Click New… in the menu bar, or select File > New Message … .
Table 7-1: Outgoing Message Status Icons
Icon Meaning
Saved
The message has been saved in the Outbox but not yet
sent.
Sent
The message has been sent successfully to the CDMA
network but has not yet been delivered to the
recipient(s).
Delivered
The message has been delivered to the recipient(s)’ mail
box(es).
Partially Sent
The message has been sent to the network but the
network did not respond. (This may indicate a network
problem.)
Not Sent
The message was sent to the network and the network
responded with an error. The error message is shown in
the Status field when you display the message.
Some possible reasons for a failure to send are:
• You do not have a subscription to a service that
allows you to send SMS messages.
• The e-mail address in the To field is not valid.
• The message exceeded the maximum length for
SMS messages.
• There is a network problem or a problem with your
account.
