Performance
The battery performance depends
on the operating conditions:
If the phone is exposed to extreme
heat, standby time is reduced con-
siderably. Avoid exposing the phone
to direct sunlight or placing it on a
radiator.
Phone number memo
You can type in a phone number on
the keypad during a phone call. The
person you are talking to will hear
this. The number can be stored or di-
aled after the current call has ended.
Phone number/URL in SMS
Phone numbers §highlighted§ in the
text can be dialed or stored in the
Phonebook/Address book. URLs
(Internet addresses) can be called
up directly and the HTTP download
started.
To do this the HTTP profile
(page 74), or the WAP profile
(page 71) must be installed and
activated.

Quick menu selection
All menu functions are numbered in-
ternally. By entering these numbers
one after the other, the function
may be started at once.
E.g. to write a new text message:

Service numbers
There may be numbers saved in the
Phonebook ( <Special Books> , <Service
Numb.> , page 29) that were put
there by your service provider. You
can call local or nationwide informa-
tion services or use services of the
service provider.
Set Forward

Forwards the caller to the mailbox,
for example, if forwarding Busy
(page 94) is set and the Call Waiting
(page 94) function is activated.
