Checking the total playing
time and titles
Press DISPLAY in stop mode.
Each time you press the button, the display
changes cyclically as follows:
x Normal Play mode
TOC display 1) or total group number of the disc 2)
or total track number of the current group 2) t
Disc title 3) or volume label 2) or group name 2) t
Clock display (for eight seconds)
t Bass level
(for eight seconds)
t Treble level (for eight
seconds)
1) TOC = Table of Contents; displays total number of
tracks on the disc, and total playing time of the disc
2)
For ATRAC CDs and MP3 CDs (group names or
volume label may not be displayed depending on the
play mode).

For CD-TEXT discs (certain characters cannot be
displayed). Depending on the disc, some CD-TEXT
information may not appear.
x Program Play mode
The last track number of the program and the
total playing time
t Total track number of the
program (for eight seconds)
t Disc title 1) or
volume label 2) t Clock display (for eight
seconds)
t Bass level (for eight seconds) t
Treble level (for eight seconds)
1) For CD-TEXT discs (certain characters cannot be
displayed). Depending on the disc, some CD-TEXT
information may not appear.
