Raising AIBO
Learning
AIBO matures by learning things, and it learns things through its experiences
and environment, as well as by being praised or admonished by you. AIBO
may also ask you to teach it things.
Learning what is good and what is bad
If you praise AIBO for an activity, either by petting it on its sensors or by
praising it with words (pages 27 and 30), it will do that activity more. If you
admonish AIBO for an activity (page 27), AIBO will do that activity less.
Through these interactions, your AIBO will form a character that is different
from other AIBOs.
