Communication Interfaces
The CG4 is available in the following 3 configurations

USB and RS232C interface on-board

To connect printer to the host computer using
the USB interface.


USB and LAN interface on-board

To connect printer using LAN interface and
establish direct communication with host
computer system on Local Area Network

To connect printer to the host computer using
IEEE interface interface.

Or, to connect the SATO Keypad, Scanner or
Smart keyboard to the printer.

USB and IEEE interface on-board

To connect printer to the host computer using
the USB interface.

The built-in interfaces of LAN or serial or parallel or
USB as standard makes it easy to switch between
applications.


Media Guide and Sensing

ƒ Media guide
ƒ I-Mark/ Gap sensor

The media guide allows the media to feed
properly.

Media sensors detect the I-Mark (or black
mark) on the media, or gap of the label in order
to precisely position the print data on the
media.

The CG4 printer is equipped with a gap or
transmissive sensor, an I-Mark or reflective
sensor, and a reflective ribbon out sensor.

Support for a greater range of media types.
