Static apnea blackout

Unconsciousness due to gradual oxygen depletion caused
by holding one’s breath too long. It can occur anywhere,
particularly at the surface, and is not associated with depth
or pressure changes. It commonly occurs in swimming
pools at the surface or during long underwater endurance
swims.

SURF TIME

Abbreviation for surface interval time.

Surface interval time

Elapsed time between surfacing from a dive and beginning
a descent for the subsequent repetitive dive.

Whole-Body Toxicity
