Changing the Display Language
1 Press Menu and then or repeatedly until “SYSTEM
SETUP” appears on the display, then press Enter.
2 Press or until you see “SELECT LANGUAGE” on the
display. The current setting is displayed on the lower line.
3 Press or to display the desired language.
4 Press Enter to save the selection.
5 To return to Standby mode, press Stop/Clear.
Setting System ID
In some countries you are required by law to indicate your fax
number on any fax you send. The System ID, containing your
telephone number and name (or company name), will be printed
at the top of each page sent from your product.
1 Press Menu and then or repeatedly until “SYSTEM ID”
appears on the display, then press Enter. The LCD display
asks you to enter the fax number.
If there is a number already set, the number appears.
Enter your fax telephone number using the number keypad.
You can include the + symbol in the phone number by
pressing the
button and insert a space by pressing the #
button.
N OTE : If you make a mistake while entering numbers, press at
the end of the entries to delete the last digit or press Search/
Delete to delete all digits you entered.
When the cursor is in the first digit or in the middle of the number,
you can use or to move the cursor under the wrong digit
to correct.
