HDMI Set-up

Communicates with equipment compatible with the “Control for HDMI” function.

• “Control for HDMI” settings must be made on the connected equipment.

Control for HDMI Links the operations of the TV and the connected equipment.

For specific Sony equipment compatible with “Control for
HDMI”, this setting is applied automatically to the connected
equipment when “On” is set.

Auto Devices Off Turns off the connected equipment when you turn off the TV.

Auto TV On

Turns on the TV when you turn on or perform playback, etc.,
on the connected equipment.

HDMI Device List Displays a list of connected equipment that is compatible

with Control for HDMI.

Keys

Select button functions of the TV’s remote to operate the
connected equipment.

Normal

For basic operations, such as navigation
buttons (up, down, left or right, etc).

Tuning Keys

For basic operations and operation of
channel-related buttons, such as PROG +/
– or 0 - 9, etc.Useful when you control a
tuner or set-top box, etc; via the remote.

Menu Keys

For basic operations and operation of the
HOME/OPTIONS buttons. Useful when
you select menus of a BD player, etc; via
the remote.

• You cannot use “Control for HDMI” if the TV operations are linked to the

operations of an audio system that is compatible with Control for HDMI.

Network Set-up

Select “Custom” after selecting “Wired Set-up”.

Setting

Select “Manual” to set the IP address manually, or “Auto” to
set it automatically.

Configure each option when “Manual” is selected in “IP
Address Setting”.

MAC Address

Displays the MAC address, which is a fixed, globally unique
identifier of the network device.

Proxy Server

a proxy server.

Network (SSID)

Select SSID (network name) of the target router.

Security

Select an appropriate security key.
