4.1 BeneWin SCA-50
The BeneWin SCM Program for Windows is designed to facilitate maintenance of
phone numbers and user settings on Benefon mobile phones. You can also use your
phone to carry out the commands in the BeneWin Program, but it is handier to pro-
cess data using your screen and keyboard - the advantage of the BeneWin Pro-
gram. For example, all user settings are displayed in a single window, which enables
you to check at a glance your current settings.
Your personal settings and phone numbers stored on the hard disk can be trans-
ferred to the mobile phone whenever necessary. When you travel or use a borrowed
phone, your own settings make the phone feel like your own.
The main functions of the BeneWin Program are divided into two windows: the
BeneWin SCM window, in which you can modify the phone numbers, and the User
window, in which you can modify the phone’s user settings.
4.1.1 Installation of BeneWin program
Start Windows.
Insert the BeneWin installation disk in the floppy disk drive of your computer.
In the Program Manager window, choose Run from the File menu.
