Calling

Tip: It is useful to enter the + sign and country code
for all numbers in the phone book as they can then
be easily used whether home or abroad.

Emergency calls

To make an emergency call

• Enter 112 (the international emergency number),

YES

.

Your phone supports the international emergency
numbers, 112, 911 and 08. This means that these
numbers can normally be used to make an emergency
call in any country, with or without a SIM card
inserted, if a GSM network is within range.

Note: Some network operators may require that a SIM
card is inserted, or in some cases, that a correct PIN is
entered in order to make an emergency call.

In some countries, other emergency numbers may also
be promoted. Your operator may therefore have saved
additional local emergency numbers on the SIM card.
