Percent is the percentage of failed packets.

MAC Layer Link Test

The MAC Layer link test is used to check the quality of transmission between
your computer and an access point. In Infrastructure mode, you don’t need to
enter a remote address.

1. If the network type is Ad-hoc mode, enter the MAC address in the

Remote Address field.

2. Enter a Test Interval (a time limit for the test). The Test Interval is shown

in milliseconds.

Enter a Packet Size.

Click Loop Back.

Click the Refresh button to set the counters to zero.

To stop the loop back test, click Loop Back again.

The results of the MAC Layer link test appear on the right side of
the dialog box.

Packet Count is the number of packets sent.
Failure Count is the number of failed packets.
Percent is the percentage of failed packets.
