• Hang up the phone. Privacy
Mode is automatically canceled.
• During a call, press and hold the
FORMAT button for more than 2
seconds until you hear a tone.
Then press “*”. A confirmation
tone will come from the handset,
and
PRIVACY DISABLE appears
on the display.

This feature is useful only if you do
not have touch-tone service.
Temporary Tone Dialing enables
pulse (rotary) service phone users
to access touch-tone services
offered by banks, credit card
companies, etc. If the TONE/PULSE
switch is set to PULSE, you can
