Installation Flexibility and

Easy Setup

Variety of Optional Lenses

A wide range of optional lens types can be
selected for the projectors. This flexibility allows the
projectors to be used for a number of applications
– from long-distance projection in large auditoriums
to short-distance rear-projection applications.

Power Zoom/Focus

The Zoom and Focus functions available with the
projectors’ lenses* can be controlled from the
projector control panel, the supplied Remote
Commander unit, or the control software installed
on a PC.

* Some lenses may not support the Power Zoom/Focus function.

Lens Shift

The Lens Shift function allows projected images to
be adjusted vertically or horizontally. This function
available with the projectors’ lenses* can be
controlled from the projector control panel, the
supplied Remote Commander unit, or the control
software installed on a PC.

*

Some lenses may not support the Lens Shift function.

Zoom/Focus Memory Function

The Zoom and Focus Memory function allows the
projectors’ optional lens to memorize its zoom,
focus, and lens-shift positions and instantly recall
them from a PC*. This is convenient when
switching the projection between two types of
aspect ratios.

*

Requires the supplied control software to be installed on the PC.

Vertical Keystone Adjustment
(Auto Mode)

The Auto mode of the Vertical Keystone Adjustment
function corrects vertical keystone distortion
automatically, enabling detailed images to be
projected with their correct geometry.

Vertical Keystone Adjustment
(Manual Mode)

The Manual mode of the Vertical Keystone
Adjustment function allows operators to manually
correct vertical keystone distortion via the
on-screen display (OSD) and/or Remote
Commander unit of the projector, enabling
detailed images to be projected with their correct
geometry.

Side Shot

The Side Shot function corrects horizontal keystone
distortion automatically, enabling detailed images
to be projected with their correct geometry, even if
the projector is placed off-axis from the center of
the screen.

Advanced Intelligent Auto Setup

By simply turning on the power, the projector
automatically initiates a host of sophisticated
setup functions that make it easy to use even for
first-time users:

Power-operated tilt adjuster is set

Auto keystone correction is performed

Auto Input Search and Smart APA (Auto Pixel

Alignment) occurs

Built-in Auto Focus module focuses the projector

Smart APA

Smart APA (Auto Pixel Alignment) automatically
sizes and adjusts a PC image display for optimum
picture performance. This allows users to
concentrate on their presentations, rather than
time-consuming technical adjustments.
