YPmobile
The Yellowpages Mobile application provides quick and ready
access to businesses, map locations, and storage of your favorite
searches. This application allows you to tap into local
businesses, locations, and events, connecting you to your search
in real-time.
Note: The first time you use YP, you will need to download the updated
application from the Market. When the Market page displays,
touchtouch Update or Install then follow the on-screen instructions. For
more information, refer to “Market” on page 106.
1. From a Home screen, touch Apps ➔ YPmobile.
2. Read the End-User License Agreement (EULA) and touch
Accept to continue.
3. Read the introduction information and touch Continue to
App.
4. Your location is found using GPS. Touch OK to allow YP to
use your current location.
5. Enter a subject or business name, city, and state in the
search field and touch Search.
6. Results will be displayed.
7. Touch the globe icon to see the locations marked with pins
on the map.
8. Pinch the map screen inwards to zoom out or pinch it
outwards to zoom in.
9. Touch a pin to read information about the location.
10. Touch to display additional options.
Zinio
Zinio is an app for reading and downloading your favorite
magazines. You can browse for magazines, download
subscriptions or single issues and sync your magazines on
multiple devices.
Note: The first time you use Zinio, you will need to download the updated
application from the Market. When the Market page displays, touch
Update or Install then follow the on-screen instructions. For more
information, refer to “Market” on page 106.
1. From a Home screen, touch Apps ➔ Zinio.
2. Read the Android Market Terms of Service and touch
Accept to continue.
3. The Zinio screen displays from the Android Market.
4. Touch UPDATE to update the software on your device.
