WARNING

Be careful when handling the battery. Avoid

spilling electrolyte. Keep flames and sparks
away from the battery.

Checking the Battery Fluid

1. Raise the rear platform to locate the battery.

2. Remove battery filler cap. Fluid must be even with split

ring full mark. If not, add distilled water.

3. Reinstall filler cap.

Cleaning the Battery and Cables

1. Disconnect the cables from the battery, negative

cable first (B, figure 25).
