17 Making a phone call
Call menu Options
Microphone
off Switch the microphone
on or off. If switched
off, the person on the
other end of the line
can hear nothing.
Alternatively:
Hold down.
Conference (see p. 16)
Time/Charge While the connection
continues, the call
duration and (if set, see
p. 54) the call time/cost
are displayed.
Call transfer (see p. 16)
Main menu Direct access to the
main menu.
Call status List all held and active
calls (e.g. participants
in a conference call).
Send DTMF
tones Transmit the control
codes created by the
keys or Addressbook.
Send DTMF tones
Digits entered during a call are
transmitted directly as DTMF
signals so that an answering
machine, for example, can be
controlled (DTMF = Dual Tone Multi
Frequency).
