Signal weak

Move higher, to a window or open space.

Outside GSM range

Check Service Provider coverage map.

SIM card not valid

Use another phone to contact Service Provider.

Network barring is set

Check barrings (see p. 62).

Network overloaded

Try again later.

Phone loses net-
work.

Signal too weak

Reconnection to another Service Provider is automatic
(see p. 62). Switching teh phone off and on again may
speed this up.

Calls not possible

Dialling error

New network not authorised (see p. 62).

2nd line set

Set other call line (see p. 61).

New SIM card inserted

Check for new restrictions.

Charge limit reached

Contact Service Provider or reset limit with PIN 2
