You can block access to some of your phone’s
preference settings, so that they will not be changed
by anyone else.

1. In Standby mode, press MENU to

enter the menu system.

Result: The first menu appears.

2. Press 6, 4 to access the

Memory

sub-menu option.

Result:

Password

? appears.

4. Press

to select

ON

5. Press

Result: The function settings are
blocked.

If you try and access the memory
of phone,

Memory Blocked

is displayed.

3. Enter your password, then press

6. To exit the menu system, press

To unblock the function settings,
repeat Steps 1 to 5, selecting

OFF

instead of

ON

in Step 4.

Preventing Access to the Memory Registers

You can prevent the memory registers from being
dialled or changed (phone numbers and names stored
in memory).

Example: You wish to keep your personal data

confidential.

1. In Standby mode, press MENU to

enter the menu system.

Result: The first menu appears.

2. Press 6, 5 to access the

SIM

Memory

sub-menu option.

Result:

Password

? appears.

4. Press

or

to select

ON

.

3. Enter your password, then press

.

OK

5. Press

Result: The memory register settings
are blocked.

If you try and access this
function,

SIM Memory

Blocked

is displayed.

6. To exit the menu system, press

To unblock the memory register
