Water Solenoid Check

1. DISCONNECT POWER AT CIRCUIT

BREAKER.

2. Remove rear cover.

3. Disconnect water solenoid lead wires from

wires B60 and B61.

4. Place test leads into water solenoid lead

wires as shown.

5. Resistance should be approximately 800

ohms. Replace if necessary.

6. Disconnect water inlet subassembly from

float control box at the compression fitting
closest to the box.

7. Apply of water pressure (approximately 15

psi) to water inlet. Water should not leak out
of the compression fitting. If necessary,
replace solenoid.

8. Reassemble water inlet, reconnect solenoid

lead wires, and reconnect power to unit.
When power is turned on, the solenoid
should “click.” If no click is heard, test for 200

minutes of turning on power switch. If 200 to
240 volts is present and the solenoid does
not click, replace solenoid.
