Recording a call
You can use the answering machine to record an exter-
nal call. The recording time depends on what recording
quality is set (see page 71).
You are conducting an external call.
To start the recording

Open the menu.

Start call recording.
The option is marked as active (

).
The answering machine symbol

flashes to indicate
that call recording is active.
To end the recording
You are recording a call.

Open the menu.

The marker (

) is deleted.
Copying a telephone number to the directory
You can copy a telephone number to the directory dur-
ing a call.

Select the menu item and confirm.
An input field opens in which you can enter the tele-
phone number and the name of the caller. If the incom-
ing call number has been transmitted it appears in the
input field.
o Enter the name of the caller if necessary.

The recorded call is stored in the message list of
the answering machine and displayed.
Inform your partner on the telephone that you
are recording the call.
