OPTIONAL COMPONENTS

Attachment of battery kit MPR-48B

The alarm lamp blinks and the alarm buzzer sounds to notice the power failure when a battery for power
failure alarm is installed. For the installation of the battery for power failure alarm, a battery kit
(MPR-48B), an optional component is necessary. A battery for power failure alarm is included in the
battery kit.

Contact Sanyo sales representative or agent for the installation of the battery kit (MPR-48B).

1. Remove the top cover on the right front of the
refrigerator top by unscrewing 4 screws. (Fig. 1)

2. Remove a electrical box cover from the control panel
cover, and remove harness from the clip which harness is
fastened with behind the electrical box cover. (Fig.1,2)

3. Pass the harnesses through the bottom opening of the
battery box and set the battery box on the control panel of
the refrigerator top so that four screw holes can be aligned.
(Fig. 3)

The battery box should be located with the battery switch

faced to the refrigerator front.

4. Put the battery on the left of the battery box. (Fig. 3)
