Setting the timer program

(PROG. TIMER)

In each of PROG. 1 and PROG. 2, the timer data including the operating period and played contents can be

programmed and set to be activated or deactivated.

Adjust the clock before setting the timer

Connect the related equipment under reference to "System connections"

Make preparations for timer.

Listening to external input sources

Listening to CD

Listening to radio

Set a disc.
(Only normal playback is possible.)

Radio stations should be preset
beforehand.

Set the timer for a component
connected to external input jacks.

÷ The programs of "PROG.1" and "PROG.2" can be set at the same time.
÷ For the simultaneous programs setting, keep the time intervals of 1 minute or more between timer programs, in order

to avoid time overlapping.

Set the timer setting program number.

Press the MODE key and select "TIMER
SET" by pressing the

4/¢ key, and press

the ENTER key.

pressing the

Press the ENTER key.

Each press of the

4 / ¢ key switches the display

÷ The previously set contents are displayed. (If you do

not want to change them, simply press the ENTER

÷ When a timer setting has already been made in the

selected timer, the setting will be overwritten by the
