Remove your finger from the
MDE button and rotate the Sub-
Command dial to set the desired
aperture.

Aperture indications change in
1/2 steps as follows:

f1.4 f1.7 f2 f2.4 f2.8 f3.3 f4
f4.8 f5.6 f6.7 f8 f9.5 f11 f13
f16 f19 f22 f27 f32

Available apertures are limited
to those of the lens in use.

An intermediate figure (for
example, f1.8, f3.3) indicates the
maximum aperture of the lens in
use. With zoom lenses, the
maximum aperture for each of
the various focal length settings
is shown in 1/6 EV steps.

If the Exposure meter LCD
indications turn Off, lightly
press the Shutter Release
button to turn them On again.

Look inside the viewfinder,
compose the shot, and lightly
press the Shutter Release button.
Confirm focus and the
automatically set shutter speed.

Fully depress the Shutter
Release button to capture the
image.
