Set Dial Code A (3)
Select an alarm option for transmission through the modem
port.
• 0=Disabled, do not transmit via modem
• R=Transmit alarm to another RCM8
• 1=Transmit alarm to remote device via PHONE
NUMBER 1
• 2=Transmit alarm to remote device via PHONE
NUMBER 2
Remote devices connected to Phone Numbers 1 and 2 can be
RCM8s, terminals, or (regular or numeric) pagers.
Press 3 to select a modem port transmission code. Enter the
specific contact point to configure (01 - 08), then type the
desired transmission option. Press Enter to return to the
Setup menu.
Set Alternate Dial Option (4)
Configure instructions for alarm transmission to a second
phone number.
• 0=Disabled, do not transmit to second phone number
• &=Dial and transmit alarm to both dial codes A and B.
(See Set Dial Code B below)
• #=Dial and transmit alarm to either dial code A or B
Press 4 to select an alternate dial option. Enter the specific
contact point to configure (01 - 08), then type the desired
transmission option. Press Enter to return to the Setup menu.
Set Dial Code B (5)
Select an option for alarm transmission to a secondary phone
number.
• 0=Disabled, do not transmit
• R=Transmit alarm to another RCM8
• 1=Transmit alarm to another device via PHONE
NUMBER 1
• 2=Transmit alarm to another device via PHONE
NUMBER 2
Press 5 to the Dial Code B option. Enter the specific contact
point to configure (01 - 08), then type the desired
transmission option. Press Enter to return to the Setup menu.
