When Memory Is Full
Note
❒ If you set "Memory Full Auto Scan Restart"of the User Tools (⇒ p.204) to
"Yes", the memory overflow message will not be displayed, but make Con-
nect Copy for the scanned originals automatically. Connect Copy continues
scanning and copying until finishing the job. Note that copy sets will be print-
ed out separately by scanning at this time.

Problem Cause Action
Order of copies is not correct. You place the originals in the
incorrect order. When placing a stack of origi-
nals in the document feeder,
the last page should be on the
bottom.
If you place an original on the
exposure glass, start with the
first page to be copied.
Orientation of copies (Top to
Top, or Top to Bottom) is not
correct. You placed the originals in the
wrong direction or the orien-
tation setting is incorrect. Set originals in the 90° Turn
orientation.

Machine Status Action
Memory is full. Press the [Output] key to copy scanned origi-
nals and clear the scanning data. Press the
[Clear]
key to clear the scanning data without
making copies.
Press the [Resume] key to scan and copy re-
maining originals. To continue copying, remove all copies, and
then press the [Resume] key. To stop copying,
press the [Stop] key.
Machine Status Action
Memory is full. Delete any unnecessary files, and then scan
the document again.
