registration identifi cation for hiring and purchas-
ing fi lms through the DivX® VOD-Service. Further
information is available under www.divx.com/vod.

You can set the picture quality for recording:
DVD+/-R/RW (4,7GB):
2 hours (SQ mode),
4 hours (LQ mode),
6 hours (EQ mode)
DVD+R DL (8,5GB):
Approx. 3 hours (HQ mode)
3:40 hours (SQ mode),
7:10 hours (LQ mode),
10:30 hours (EQ mode)

Recording Format

When recording you can set the picture format
(16:9 or 4:3) to suit the picture material you are
recording.

You need to use this setting if your camcorder with
32 KHz / 12-bit is connected to the DV IN socket on
the front panel.
Some digital camcorders have two stereo tracks for
audio. One is used for recording, the other is used
for post-editing.
On the Audio 1 setting the original sound is
recorded.
On Audio 2 setting the edited sound is used.
