11.2 Headset Hearing Protection

The headset can be configured to provide any of several levels of protection, depending on how long you use the headset each day. A

specific setting may be required in some jurisdictions. See also 2.2 Protecting Your Hearing with SafeTone™.
All four IntelliTone™ levels above zero meet and exceed de facto global protection levels and are compliant with NIOSH standards and

EU health and safety codes of 85 dB(A). These are also compliant with Directive 2003/10/EC of the European Parliament and Council of 6

February 2003.
The TT4 protection level is compliant with pertinent Australian recommendation.
