Turn on the copyboard’s power and connect it
to the computer using the USB cable.

Use the supplied (or a commercially available) USB cable to
connect the PC dedicated USB port on the bottom of the copy-
board with the USB port of the computer.

Installing the USB driver

When connecting the copyboard’s PC dedicated USB port to the USB port of the computer, it is necessary to
install the accompanying USB driver to allow the computer to recognize the copyboard as an external device
and permit reading and writing.
Once installed on the computer, there will be no need to install it again.

Turn on the computer’s power and start up Windows.

Logon using an account that has administrator privileges which allows making changes to system settings.

When the “New hardware wizard” starts, click the “Next” button.

When “M-11 USB Device” is detected, select “Search for a suitable driver for my device
(recommended)” (Windows 2000), or “Install from a list or specific location (Advanced)”
(Windows XP), then click the “Next” button.

Set the included CD-ROM in the CD-ROM drive.

If the setup window appears, click the “×” (close) button to close it.

Select only “Specify a location where to search”, then click the “Next” button (Windows
2000), or select only “include this location in the search” (Windows XP).
