Connecting other audio
components

This receiver has both digital and analog
inputs, allowing you to connect audio
components for playback.

This receiver features five stereo audio-only
inputs. One of these inputs have corresponding
outputs for use with audio recorders.

Most digital components also have analog
connections.

When you set up the receiver you’ll need to tell
the receiver which input you connected the
component to (see also

The Input Setup menu

on page 39).

• If your turntable has line-level outputs (i.e.,

it has a built-in phono pre-amp), connect it
to the

CD inputs instead.

• If you’re connecting a recorder, connect

the analog audio outputs to the analog
audio inputs on the recorder.

About the WMA9 Pro decoder

1

(WMA9 Pro) decoder, so

it is possible to playback WMA9 Pro-encoded
audio using HDMI, coaxial or optical digital
connection when connected to a WMA9 Pro-

DVD player, set-top box, etc. must be able to
output WMA9 Pro format audio signals
through a coaxial or optical digital output.
