The following offenses are punishable by fine, imprisonment, or both:
l Using obscene, indecent, or profane language.
l Using the unit to give off false distress calls.
l Wiretapping or otherwise intercepting a telephone call, unless that
person has first obtained the consent of the parties participating in
the call.
l Making anonymous calls to annoy, harass, or molest other people.
l Charging to an account without authorization to avoid payment for
service.
l Refusing to yield a party line when informed that it is needed for
an emergency call (It is also unlawful to take over a party line by
stating falsely that it is needed for an emergency).

1. LIMITED WARRANTY
Hyundai Electronics Industries Co.,Ltd.(“Hyundai”) hereby warrants that this HGC-300E Phone (the “Product”) will be
free from defects in material and workmanship, under normal use and service for the following period after the date of
purchase:
Product 12 Months
Carrying Cases Defect-free at time of shipment
Product Accessories
(batteries. charger. etc) 6 Months
During this limited warranty period, HYUNDAI will repair, replace or refund the purchase price of the Product, at its
option, if the Product is deemed not to comply with the limited warranty, and if the Product is returned in accordance
with the terms of this limited warranty. Repair, at Hyundai’s option, may include the replacement of parts with
functionally equivalent reconditioned or new parts. Replaced parts, accessories or batteries are warranted for the
balance of the original warranty period.
2. WARRANTY CONDITIONS
This express Limited Warranty applies only to the extent that Purchaser uses the Product in a normal manner and in
conformance with the Product instructions provided at the time of the Product’s purchase. This limited warranty is
extended by Hyundai to the original purchaser of the Product(“Buyer”) and is not assignable or transferable to
subsequent purchasers. This is the complete warrnaty for the Product by Hyundai. Hyundai assumes no obligation for
modifications to this warranty unless made in writing and signed by an authorized representative of Hyundai.
The product’s batteries are warranted only if battery capacity falls below 80% of rated capacity or if the battery
develops leakage. The warranty for batteries is void if:
1) the battery has been charged by a battery charger not specified or approved by Hyundai for the charging of the
battery:
2) any of the seals on the battery are broken of show evidence of tampering : or
3) the battery has been used in equipment other than the Hyundai Product for which it was specified.
This limited warranty does not cover, and Hyundai is in no way responsible for, any ancillary equipment used with the
Product, or the operation of the Hyundai Product when used in connection with such ancillary equipment.
3. WHAT THIS LIMITED WARRANTY DOES NOT COVER
Hyundai does not warrant the Products against:
(a) Defect or damage resulting from use of the Product in a manner other than its normal and customary
manner;(b)Defects or damage resulting from misuse,accident or neglect;(c)Defects of demage from improper testing,
maintenance or modification of the Product;(d)Breakage or damage to any antenna,unless caused by defects in
workmanship;(e)Products which have the serial number removed or made illegible;(f)All plastic surfaces and all other
externally exposed parts which are scratched or damaged due to Buyer’s normal use;(g)Damage or malfunctions
resulting from the use of the Product with any accessories or equipment not furnished by Hyundai.
4. OBTAINING WARRANTY SERVICE
In order to obtain repair or replacement service under this Limited Warranty, the Buyer must return the Product to the
place of purchase or an authorized Hyundai service facility, and in an adequate container if shipped, along with the
Buyer’s sales receipt or comparable substitute proof of sale showing the date of purchase, the serial number(MSN)of
the product, and the name and address of the seller of the product, Delivery and handling charges incurred in
forwarding the product to Hyundai or its authorized service facilities will be the responsibility of the Buyer.
The Buyer will be invoiced for any parts and/or labor charges not covered by this Limited Warranty, in addition to
reinstallation expenses of the Product, if any. In the case of certain operator specific features related to the Product,
Hyundai reserves the right to refer the Buyer to the relevant operator before service is provided. If the Product is
returned to Hyundai after the expiration of the Limited Warranty Period, Hyundai’s normal service policies shall apply
and the Buyer will be invoiced in accordance with Hyundai’s then current standard repair pricing.
5. DISCLAIMER OF OTHER WARRANTIES
This Limited Warranty sets forth in full Hyundai’s responsibilities regarding the Product. The Product repair,
replacement, or the refund of the Product’s purchase price, at Hyundai’s option, is Buyer’s exclusive remedy, THIS
WARRANTY IS IN LIEU OF ALL OTHER EXPRESS WARRANTIES, IMPLIED WARRANTIES, INCLUDING
WITHOUT LIMITATION, THE IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY AND FITNESS FOR A
PARTICULAR PURPOSE, IN NO EVENT SHALL HYUNDAI BE LIABLE IN DAMAGES IN EXCESS OF THE
PURCHASE PRICE OF THE PRODUCT, FOR ANY LOSS OF USE OR LOSS OF TIME, INCONVENIENCE,
COMMERCIAL LOSS, LOST PROFITS OR OTHER INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES.
This Limited Warranty gives the buyer specific legal rights, and the Buyer may also have other rights which vary from
state to state.
