Using the joystick Use the joystick to move through the menus and select
items or change values in them. You can also use the joy-
stick as your system mouse if you install the serial cable and
follow the boot instructions detailed in the Host mode s e c-
tion on the next page.
• Move the joystick left or right to move across the menus.
• Move the joystick up or down to move up or down in a
menu. Move the joystick up to move up one level when you
are at the top of a menu.
• Press the joystick to make a menu selection.
If you are operating in Host mode, the joystick provides
the following functions:
• Move the joystick up, down, left or right to move the cursor.
• Press the joystick to initiate a mouse click.
• Press the joystick twice for a double mouse click.
Operating the projector The control panel and remote control provide access to all
projector features. Press a key to select a function or to navi-
gate through the menus. The projector can operate in Local
or Host mode.
Local mode Any time you activate the projector menus, the projector is
in Local mode. In Local mode, the remote control can be
used to move through and select items in the projector
