HTP-LX70
The HTP-LX70 Home Theatre System consists of an integrated Receiver Subwoofer unit and four speakers.
The speakers were specially developed for home theatre use based on Pioneer’s dodecahedron technology
and are capable of creating a thrilling three-dimensional sound field. They generate an amazing sense of
presence that makes you feel as if you are actually in the scene or at the concert.
Both compact and stylish, they combine with the powerful Receiver Subwoofer to create
a truly high performance surround system.
Concert hall reverberations in your home.
When music is played inside a concert hall, we hear
successive reverberations from the walls and ceiling.
These reverberations are a major reason for the sense of
presence that we feel. The problem is reproducing these
reverberations naturally in a listening room. Pioneer has
spent years developing solutions to this problem, and one
of our recent successes is the dodecahedron technology
used to design the HTP-LX70 speakers so they create
realistic three-dimensional sound fields.

Pioneer developed a unique polyhedral speaker utilising
dodecahedron technology, enabling the HTP-LX70 to realise a
three-dimensional sound field. The surround sound you
experience provides a sense of presence that makes you feel as
if you are actually in the scene or at the concert. The left and
right front speakers employ a Dual Centre method that
delivers centre channel sound directly to the front, so a
separate centre speaker is not needed.
Pioneer’s Pursuit of Perfection
The Receiver Subwoofer actually has double subwoofer
drivers built in, each driven by its own dedicated amplifier.
With large 18cm cones, the subwoofers have a down-firing
design that efficiently radiates sound. Their outstanding bass
reproduction capability makes exciting movie scenes come more
powerfully alive.

The Receiver Subwoofer offers Advanced MCACC, an enhanced
version of Pioneer’s automatic sound field calibration system.
With the addition of reverberation measurements, standing
wave compensation and other capabilities, it provides more
precise Three Dimensional Automatic sound field calibration,
for sensational surround sound at the touch of a button.

The newest movie sound formats, Dolby TrueHD and DTS-HD
Master Audio, can deliver loseless sound that is identical to
the sound mastered in the studio. The HTP-LX70 Receiver
Subwoofer is fully compatible with these formats. You can be
confident that any movie you watch will sound just the way it
is supposed to.

This remote control allows you to perform
various operations with ease using an LCD
touch panel. It is compatible with all of
Pioneer’s AV components.

HDMI Control is a user-friendly function that lets you
operate your home theatre system with a single remote
control. By connecting the HTP-LX70 to a compatible Pioneer
PDP or the Blu-Ray Disc player via an HDMI cable, you can
control the basic operations of these components with the
PDP’s remote control.

Pioneer’s Front Stage Surround Advance technology makes it
p o s s i b l e t o e n j o y s u r r o u n d s o u n d w i t h a l l s p e a k e r s
positioned in the front of the room. It makes use of the
difference between the sound pressures sensed at the left
a n d r i g h t e a r s t o c r e a t e a n a t u r a l s u r r o u n d s o u n d
