Defining a Cost Code

This function lets you define a code to translate data entered
by the operator. Your code can be letters, numbers, or special
characters (such as / or $).

1. From the main menu select Printer Options and press

2. When you see

until you see Define Cost Code, then press

3. You’ll see

Entered Char:_____________
Printed Char:

Enter 10 characters the operator will choose from to type
in at data entry. All ten characters should be different.
Otherwise, you won’t be able to decode the result. For
example, type 1234567890 and press

E

4. You’ll see

Entered Char: 1234567890
Printed Char:_______________
