Remote Control (VSX-D512)
1 RECEIVER
Switches the receiver between on and standby.
2 MULTI CONTROL buttons
Use to select the input source.
3 LISTENING MODE buttons
STANDARD (page 30, 32, 39)
Press for Standard decoding and to switch
between the various Pro Logic II options.
ADVANCED SURROUND (page 30, 32)
Use to switch between the various
surround modes.
STEREO/DIRECT (pages 30–31)
Switches direct playback on or off. Direct
playback bypasses the tone controls and
channel levels for the most accurate
reproduction of a source.
4 CH SELECT (page 39)
Use to select a channel when setting up
the surround sound of the receiver.
TEST TONE (page 39)
Use to sound the test tones when setting
up the surround sound of the receiver.
LEVEL +/– (page 39)
Use to set up the levels of the surround
sound of the receiver.
EFFECT +/– (page 32)
Use to add or subtract the amount of effect
in the Movie, Music and Expanded
Advanced Surround modes.
5 MUTE
Use to mute the sound or restore the sound if it
has been muted.
6 MASTER VOLUME
Use to set the overall listening volume.
7 TOP MENU
Use to return to the most basic menu on a
DVD player or disc.
DTV MENU
Use to display the menus on a digital TV
tuner.
8 AUDIO
Use to switch the audio tracks of a DVD when
in DVD mode.
