• Static electricity or other external

influences may cause malfunctioning of
this unit. In this case, unplug the power
cord and then plug back in. This will
usually reset the unit for proper operation.
If this does not correct the problem,
please consult your nearest Pioneer
service center.

digital audio.

• Some discs are digital copy protected and do not output high
sampling rate digital audio. In this case the output is automatically
downsampled.

No DTS audio output.

• If this unit is connected to a non-DTS compatible amplifier or
decoder using analog audio cable, set

you do not do this, noise will be output when you play a DTS disc.
• If this unit is connected to a DTS-compatible amplifier or decoder
using a digital audio cable, check the amplifier settings, and that the
cable is properly connected.

sessions that are closed.

Can’t hear effect of
TruSurround

• TruSurround does not work with 96kHz linear PCM DVD.
• The TruSurround effect is only output through the

analog audio outputs.
• The effectiveness of TruSurround varies with the disc.
