TO REPLACE THE SWEATBAND
The Primair Series headgear comes with a replaceable sweat band. To replace the sweatband:
1.
Peel the old sweatband off the headgear.
2.
Using a mild cleaning solution and a cloth or sponge, remove any excess adhesive that may remain on the headband. Rinse in
clean water than air dry in a clean area before attaching the replacement sweatband
3.
Remove the protective backing of the replacement sweatband (P/N PA104) and press it onto the headgear (figure 9).
6 CLEANING
AND
SANITIZING
The headgear should be cleaned and sanitized between use.
Remove the head cover from the headgear.
Clean the headgear by using a mild cleaning solution and a cloth or sponge. Rinse in clean water than air dry in a clean area.
Visually inspect all components for damage and replace the entire headgear if any component is damaged.
Put the replacement head cover on the headgear (see 2.2 of these User Instructions).

STORAGE
Store the Primair headgear at room temperature in a clean dry area, away from direct sunlight and sources of direct heat.

CAUTION
Be sure the air duct (manifold) is completely dry inside as well as outside before reusing the respirator or s
ealing the headgear in a bag for storage. Forcing air through the air duct for a few minutes using the
Compact Air blower battery assembly can help assure that all moisture has been removed from the inside of
the air duct.
CAUTION
Do not use liquid solvents when cleaning the headgear. Liquid solvents may chemically weaken the plastic
